Incidence of Impacted Canine in Patients Visiting Tertiary Care Hospital of Peshawar, Pakistan

Among all the dental problems, tooth impaction is one of leading problems these days. It stated as improper infusion when has erupted at predicted time. Canine most egregious imposition and leads to frequent complications. Objective: To estimate incidence impacted canine in patients visiting tertiary care hospital Peshawar, Pakistan Methods: This retrospective study was conducted Peshawar Dental College from 2018 2021. A total 1326 visited health center during this period Results: Out patients, only 64 (4.8%) cases affected canines were found with orthomograph (OPG). Furthermore, individuals had various sites, including mandible, maxillary, left side right side. 153 teeth on different locations. In these153 teeth, 37 (24.2%) incidents recorded top right, whereas 49 (32%) documented other However, 58 (37.9%) maxillary 9 (5.9%) mandibular reported.
